With nearly 30 years of professional teaching experience - including tenure at London’s Guitar Institute and founding Auckland Guitar School - I’ve seen exactly where most guitarists get stuck.

I offer Group and Direct Mentorship designed to replace "online overwhelm" with a solid, high-velocity pathway. My method focuses on:

How We Work Together
My mentoring sessions are conducted online, requiring only a stable internet connection and headphones. To ensure your progress is consistent and measurable, every session includes:

• Professional Curriculum: Access to clear, organised, and professionally formatted materials.

• Structured Roadmap: A logical, step-by-step approach to mastering complex concepts.

• Practical Application: We don't just study theory; we focus on how to use it in your real-world playing.

The Focus of Our Sessions
I specialise in developing well-rounded musicianship and mastery of the slide. We dive deep into the architecture of playing: technique, improvisation, rhythm, composition, ear training, and finding your unique "voice" on the instrument.

My curriculum is designed to give you the autonomy to master the music you love. If you are looking for someone to simply show you where to put your fingers for a specific cover song, I am likely not the right fit. My goal is to give you the skills to decode any song yourself.
