Slide guitar allows us to play the guitar in a uniquely expressive way.

The tones you can create, and the emotion you can wring out of a guitar with a slide are out of this world.

However it presents even experienced “conventional” guitar players with a set of unique challenges.

• With the slide on one finger, suddenly you’ve become a One Finger Guitarist!

• Not only that, but it’s as if someone has removed all your frets... Suddenly we have to learn how to play in tune, as if we were playing violin.

• And as if this weren't enough, in different tunings you're back to the beginning with your knowledge of the fretboard.

I’m not saying any of this to put you off, but rather to prepare you for the exciting journey ahead.

The good news is that I've been there, and I can help. Not only am I extremely passionate about slide guitar, but I'm an experienced educator with 25+ years of teaching guitar behind me.
